Food in Culture  These questions will test your knowledge of table manners of cultures from around the world. It will also test your knowledge about foods that are eaten in many countries. Did you know that some of the foods eaten by the natives of Australia have included green ants, lizards, kangaroo and emu? Did you also know that Brazilians tend to wipe their mouth before taking a drink during a meal? History of Food  These questions will test your knowledge about the history and geography of food. Did you know that many people in the United States thought tomatoes were poisonous until the 19th century. Many United States citizens would boil the tomatoes for three hours to make the tomato "safe for human consumption."
Questions about Nutrition  These questions will test your knowledge about food and nutrition. Did you know that Vitamin D is essential for children because it helps calcium and phosphorus to form straight, strong bones and teeth. Did you also know that the body can manufacture its own vitamin D with direct sunlight on the skin. Vitamin D is routinely added to most milk during processing.
Origins of Food  This game will test your knowledge about the origins of food. Did you know that potatoes are originally from South America? They were first cultivated in the Andean region of Peru over some four to seven thousand years ago. So next time someone says, "potatoes are originally from Idaho", you better correct them.
Food Groups  These questions will test your understanding of food groups by having you determine what food items belong to what food groups. Did you know that peanuts are considered part of the meat group?
